Students in Years 7-9 are divided into four forms of 28 students with smaller form-groups at Key Stage Four and in the Sixth Form. Every KEGS student is treated as a unique individual with their own personality, ambitions and needs.
Our pastoral systems are set up to ensure that each student can thrive, finding their own individual path through the school that enables them to fulfil their personal goals. At the heart of the school’s success is a strong and positive partnership between students, teachers and parents. We use a range of mechanisms, increasingly through electronic systems, to facilitate excellent communication and we encourage open dialogue between everyone involved in each student’s education.
Teachers are joined by a school counsellor, student welfare officer and a range of administrative and technical support staff in providing excellent support to students in every aspect of their school life. Students and parents receive high quality Information, Advice and Guidance on a range of issues from university applications and careers to sex education and drugs awareness.
