Students all study 4 A Level subjects of their choice in Year 12 from a wide range of areas ranging from the Sciences, Humanities and the Arts. However, it is possible to study 5 A Levels if students choose Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The majority of students choose to continue with all of their subjects in Year 13 to A2 level. In addition, all students study A Level General Studies across their two years in the Sixth Form.
As well as studying their A Levels, all students in Year 12 are expected to carry out Community Service, and participate in the weekly Games programme which provides an opportunity to participate recreationally or represent the school in sports including Rugby, Football, Netball and Cricket. Students also participate in a weekly Enrichment and Personal Development programme which is wide ranging and consists of sessions led by form tutors and outside guest speakers from different local and national groups and agencies.
