Students are members of a tutor group consisting of approximately 24 students in which they remain for their two years in the Sixth Form. Form tutors and other Sixth Form pastoral staff work closely with students throughout their time in the KEGS Sixth Form and offer ongoing advice, support and guidance to support their journey through the Sixth Form. Our most successful Sixth Formers are those that embrace their work, but also throw themselves into the wider life of the school.

Sixth Formers are encouraged to lead student clubs and societies, and large numbers participate in mentoring and support schemes for younger students including our Science mentors and Languages ambassadors.

Our Sixth Formers lead the House system and work alongside students from all year groups in major annual events such as House Music, Drama and Sports Day. Each year, 35 students are elected by their peers and staff to the Prefect Body, and subsequently take wide ranging leadership roles in their capacity as prefects.
